Band Goes Live on Monad Mainnet: Delivering Data Layer for High-Performance DeFi
We’re excited to announce that Band is now live on Monad Mainnet from Day 1, providing fast, reliable, and cost-efficient data oracles to support the next generation of decentralized applications.
We’re excited to announce that Band is now live on Monad Mainnet from early days, providing fast, reliable, and cost-efficient data oracles to support the next generation of decentralized applications. After a successful Band's Integration on Monad Testnet in March 2025, Band brings its production-ready oracle infrastructure directly to Monad’s high-performance EVM environment. With mainnet launching today, developers can immediately access secure on-chain pricing for core assets, enabling real financial applications to deploy from the very first block.
Expanding the Data Layer of Monad
Monad is designed to push the boundaries of what’s possible with EVM infrastructure, offering high throughput, low latency, and an execution environment capable of supporting large-scale, real-world applications. To unlock this potential, developers need a dependable data layer that matches Monad’s speed and reliability. Band provides exactly that, enabling:
- Fast price updates with minimal latency
- Decentralized data aggregation through BandChain
- Affordable oracle usage for high-frequency protocols
- Seamless EVM integration via Band Standard Reference Contracts
Together, Band and Monad empower builders to create performant, trust-minimized DeFi systems without compromising on accuracy or efficiency.
Available Price Feeds at Launch
At mainnet launch, Band provides validated, production-ready price feeds for the core assets USDC, USDT, SOL, ETH, and WBTC. These assets form the foundation for early DeFi on Monad, powering lending protocols, perpetual DEXs, stablecoins, liquidations, synthetic assets, risk engines, and more. With these feeds available on Day 1, teams building on Monad can deploy financial primitives that rely on accurate, up-to-date market pricing from the moment the network goes live.
Secure by Design, Backed by a Proven Track Record
Band Oracle architecture is built for high reliability and security. All price data is secured by BandChain, a purpose-built blockchain utilizing delegated proof-of-stake. Validators source pricing from multiple reputable data providers, aggregate the data, reach decentralized consensus, and relay results on-chain, ensuring every price update delivered to Monad is verifiable, decentralized, tamper-resistant, and fully auditable across BandChain and Monad. Band also carries an impeccable multi-year security record, with no oracle exploits, no data manipulation compromises, and no failures of core oracle infrastructure. This long-standing reliability provides Monad builders with a trusted foundation to build high-performance DeFi applications without sacrificing security or decentralization. As the Monad ecosystem expands, Band will continue to add additional price feeds based on demand, supporting new markets and emerging use cases across trading, lending, and AI-driven on-chain systems.
How the Integration Works
Band’s integration with Monad leverages Band's Cross-Chain Oracle network, enabling secure, verifiable data relay from BandChain to Monad Mainnet.

1 Data Request: BandChain validators source real-time price data from trusted providers such as CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and major centralized exchanges.
2 Aggregation & Consensus: Validators aggregate the fetched data and finalize it through BandChain’s delegated proof-of-stake consensus, ensuring decentralized validation of each price update.
3 Secure Data Relay: Validated data is relayed from BandChain to Monad Mainnet, optimized for rapid execution and high-throughput settlement.
4&5 On-Chain Access: Applications on Monad can read these validated prices directly from Band’s standard reference contract (via an upcoming proxy contract), enabling consistent oracle access across the ecosystem.
Developers can plug these price feeds into lending markets, perps, synthetic assets, liquidation engines, and any system requiring accurate, verifiable pricing.
Potential Use Cases on Monad
Band’s oracle infrastructure unlocks several high-impact applications on Monad, including:
- High-Frequency DeFi & Trading: Perps, order books, AMMs, and arbitrage systems that rely on fast, reliable price updates.
- Lending & Collateralized Systems: Liquidation engines, CDPs, and lending markets powered by accurate asset valuations.
- Synthetic Assets & Stablecoins: Oracle-backed stablecoins and synthetic asset platforms built using verifiable on-chain pricing.
- AI-Native Applications: AI agents, smart wallets, and automated trading systems that use Band’s price feeds as trusted inputs for on-chain decision-making.

Looking Forward
Band is committed to supporting Monad’s growth from the earliest stages of mainnet. As the ecosystem expands and new applications launch, we will continue enhancing our oracle infrastructure, adding more price feeds, and supplying the data layer needed to power high-performance applications across DeFi and beyond. We are also actively exploring AI-driven integrations with Membit and other AI-native builders, unlocking new use cases where Social Context Layer powers intelligent, automated on-chain systems. Stay tuned for more on this! We're proud to be here on Day 1, and we can't wait to see what builders create next.
About Monad
Monad is a high-performance Ethereum-compatible L1, offering users the best of both worlds: portability and performance. From a portability perspective, Monad offers full bytecode compatibility for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), so that applications built for Ethereum can be ported to Monad without code changes, and full Ethereum RPC compatibility, so that infrastructure like Etherscan or The Graph can be used seamlessly. From a performance perspective, Monad offers 10,000 tps of throughput, i.e. 1 billion transactions per day, while offering 500ms block frequency and 1 second finality. This allows Monad to support many more users and far more interactive experiences than existing blockchains, while offering far cheaper per-transaction costs.
