Introducing “My Membit”: A New Way to See Your Role in the Ecosystem

How Staking and Time-Based Bonuses Work (Simple Explanation)

Staking rewards in Membit are based on a very simple idea: Users can stake through any BandChain's validators, connect, and pair their BAND wallets in the My Membit Dashboard. Each day you stake, you earn a daily Staking Bonus Points Multiplier based on the amount of BAND you have staked. At the end of the staking period, all your daily Staking Bonus Points Multipliers are averaged, and that average becomes your final Staking Bonus Points Multiplier. Your Staking Bonus Points Multiplier each day is:

• 10 BAND → Up to +100%
• 100 BAND → Up to +300%
• 1,000 BAND → Up to +700%
• 10,000 BAND → Up to +1,500%

If you keep a higher stake for more days, your final Staking Bonus Points Multiplier goes up. If you stake later or unstake early, you still get Staking Bonus Points Multiplier for the days you participated, just with a lower average. This makes the system fair, simple, and resistant to abuse.

It’s also about how long. Stake early throughout the entire period, and you unlock the full Staking Bonus Points Multiplier.

Stake halfway in till the end, and your Staking Bonus Points Multiplier is proportionally reduced.

Grand Total Points

In conclusion: Grand total points = Raw points x (1 + Total Bonus Points Multiplier)

Your Total Bonus Points Multiplier comes from two components working together:

1. Your Community Role Bonus (Hunter, Ranger, Champion)
2. Your Time-Based Staking Bonus (your daily staking multipliers averaged over the entire staking period)

These two bonuses stack to determine how many extra points you earn on top of your base points. Because staking is calculated daily and roles are active throughout your journey, your Bonus Points Multiplier naturally grows over time. The longer you maintain your role and keep your stake active, the higher your Grand Total Points become. These Grand Total Points are the reflection of Hunter's real contribution, consistency, and commitment to the Membit ecosystem.

A More Transparent Leaderboard

With this update, we’re introducing a new all-time leaderboard that gives users a clearer view of their standing in the ecosystem. Unlike previous versions, this leaderboard focuses solely on:

• All-time points
• All-time eligible posts
• Raw performance before Bonus Points added

Badges from roles, staking, and other achievements are also visible, giving every Hunter a complete picture of their participation over time. It’s transparency by design, and an important foundation for evolving into more sophisticated reward models in the future.
