Membit Season 1 Claim Portal is now live!

We are delighted to announce that the Membit Season 1 Claim Portal is now live.

Six months ago, we started with a simple idea that everyday users scrolling through social media could help make AI smarter. Today, with more than 100,000 hunters onboard, that idea has become something real. This moment belongs to every one of you, and we are genuinely grateful for the trust and energy you have brought to this community.

The Claim Portal gives you the power to choose how you want to receive your Season 1 rewards. Will you play it safe and lock in your earnings, or risk it all for a shot at greater prizes? The choice is entirely yours. Just know that once you decide, there's no turning back.

A Recap of Season 1 Eligibility Criteria and Bonuses

Over the past 6 months, Membit has grown to more than 100,000 data hunters, a milestone we are incredibly proud of. To protect the integrity of this ecosystem and ensure rewards go to those who truly deserve them, we introduced a clear set of eligibility criteria for Season 1. Here is a quick recap of what you need to know.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Sybil & Ban Criteria: Any account suspended on X or found to be using unauthorized API access to automate or manipulate submissions will be permanently banned and disqualified from all rewards. These measures are in place to keep Membit free from fake activity and ensure fair play for every genuine hunter.
• Activeness: Consistent participation is key. Hunters are required to maintain regular scrolling and submission activity to qualify for rewards. If you have been actively contributing throughout the season, you are in good shape.

Bonuses

• Staking: This action is not required to be eligible. Hunters who staked BAND tokens during Season 1 received a points multiplier as a reward for their commitment. Staking served as both a proof of humanity and a quality control mechanism to help distinguish genuine contributors from bad actors.
• Community Multipliers: Additional multipliers were available through Discord community roles and Galxe quests, rewarding hunters who went beyond data hunting and actively contributed to the Membit community.

Step 1: Check Your Eligibility

Log in to the Claim Portal using the X account you use to scroll on Membit to check your eligibility.

If you are eligible, you will see a congratulations banner displaying your tier, raw points, final points, bonus points, and Season 1 rank. If you are not eligible this time, do not be discouraged. Season 2 has already begun, and your contributions still matter. Keep scrolling.

Step 2: Choose Your Approach

Eligible hunters will need to make one key decision: secure your rewards by receiving BAND tokens directly, or convert them into raffle tickets for a chance at a larger prize.

Five winners will be randomly and transparently selected on-chain using Band VRF, deployed on Ethereum and BandChain, the blockchain that currently supports price feeds for more than 80 projects across the crypto ecosystem. The prizes are 15,000, 5,000, 4,000, 3,000, and 2,000 BAND, respectively.

The winner announcement live stream will be hosted on 12th March 2026. Stay tuned for further announcements on Membit’s official X account.

Step 3: Share & Claim Your SS1 Finisher Role

After finalizing your decision, make sure to share your achievement on X to claim your exclusive SS1 Finisher Role. This role is a reward for being an early adopter of Membit and will grant you an extra points boost in Season 2.

We have created a personalized Hunter Card for each of you, featuring your reward, rank, tier, and claimed badges. Simply download it, share it on X, and follow the prompts to claim your role. We have made the process as straightforward as possible.

Distribution Date

Rewards will be distributed by 16 March 2026. Here is what to expect leading up to that date:

We will run a testnet distribution to verify the system and ensure everything is working correctly. After confirming completeness and accuracy, the final rewards will be transferred to your BandChain wallets shortly after.

We want to be transparent about why this process takes time. Sending tokens securely to a large number of wallets requires careful engineering. BandChain is not a smart contract platform, so the distribution requires additional steps to ensure that every eligible hunter receives their BAND accurately and safely. We have evaluated both the technical and operational aspects thoroughly, and we are confident this is the right approach.

Future Milestone

Season 1 has proven something meaningful: that real-time social context can be delivered to AI at scale, powered by a community of everyday contributors. We still have a lot to improve on both the product and community side, and we are actively working on it.

The majority of our 100,000 hunters are here because we share the same vision: building a reliable context layer for AI that allows ordinary people to play a meaningful role in shaping how AI understands the world. That mission has not changed.

From here, expect continued development on the product front as we push further into R&D and work toward a stronger product-market fit. On the community side, we remain committed to ensuring that every hunter is recognized and rewarded fairly for their contributions to the Membit and Band ecosystem.
